The 2K11 24/7 CXXIII: Blue & Orange
He done did it again. So after the results of last night's election, I made a tweet about the current state of affairs in the style of Wiz Khalifa's smash hit "Black & Yellow":
But then it got me thinking - what WOULD a rap about the massive landslide victories of the majority and official opposition parties sound like? That's when I got to work. When I'm writing a rap, I usually try to have a decent mix of the following:
Didn't really have too much of these in the last event-based rhyme I put out, so I tried to do a little better this time around. When it came down to content, I tried to focus on:
- Witty punchlines;
- Topical statements; and
- Multiple forms of rhyme structure
